| Supras are considered the "cream of the crop" in the US import scene, but probably not for reasons he would expect. It’s not because they are a substantially better car than the Z. Rather, the sheer lack of production (~1/7th that of the Z32) has made them very rare. Also - from a price point - MKIV Supra turbos DO compete with 911's of the same year and mileage (but not really with Ferrari). Also, having an iconic movie like F&F, as ridiculous as it was, did nothing but boost (pardon the pun) interest in the Supra. The Z32 has none of these frivolous advantages (thankfully or we would all be much further in debt!) Whether the Z is a better car is irrelevant. It will never be held in the same esteem that the Supra enjoys. p.s. MKIV Supras are just plain ugly.
